Winter Training

Last week, our entire team wrapped up a couple of days of safety training with Jeff Spatz from The Graham Company. The comprehensive sessions covered Flagger Training, Confined Space, Opioid Awareness, Driving Safety, and the eye-opening presentation, "Safety: Why Bother." Jeff skillfully emphasized safety in a refreshingly personal way, resonating with each of us on a deeper level.

Reflecting on the session, we were reminded of The Graham Company's safety philosophy, where establishing a culture of safety is paramount, especially in high-risk industries. Their belief that "culture beats compliance" resonated with us — it's not just about checking boxes; "It’s about people. It’s about life. It’s about opportunity."

Committed to integrating these invaluable insights into our daily operations, we recognize that ensuring the well-being of our team isn't just a goal; it's embedded in our culture. We view safety not as a compliance checkbox but as an ongoing journey of improvement, echoing The Graham Company's philosophy that "culture beats compliance." Thanks to Jeff and The Graham Company for helping us prioritize safety in every facet of our work.

As we conclude, we want to leave you with a powerful reminder from The Graham Company:

"Safety is not about numbers, checklists, reports, and statistics. It’s about people. It’s about life. It’s about opportunity. And, let’s face IT, it’s about time."
